Bilingual Program

Bambujaya Early Childhood Program

Learning social, language and practical skills through cooperation, imitation, play and daily routine.

During the early years, children carefully watch and imitate, so it is the optimal time to teach good habits and values that will last a lifetime. They are interested in what adults are doing and want to have purposeful work themselves, but they also need plenty of time to safely explore the world and develop a rich imagination.

In later years, they can combine their curiosity and compassion to understand the world better and offer solutions to problems.

“Where is the book in which the teacher can read about what teaching is? The children themselves are this book. We should not learn to teach out of any book other than the one lying open before us and consisting of the children themselves.”

Rudolf Steiner

Bambujaya Playing Outside

By beginning with a strong understanding of how to educate the hands, heart and head, we at Bambujaya allow children enough time to develop skills, feelings and knowledge in age appropriate ways. In our Early Childhood Program, we encourage wonder and joy for the goodness of life through the warmth and beauty of the classrooms, toys, art, outdoor environments and natural setting.

Bambujaya Classroom Activities

Through play, bilingual circle activities and stories, purposeful tasks and cooperation, children learn a variety of language, math, social and practical skills.
